Taproom Manager

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate, bad*ss beer lover to oversee the operations of our new Taproom and Biergarten. This person empowers the Taproom staff, creates a successful family-like culture, and furthers the growth of the Dallas beer scene. They are eager to learn, contagiously positive, and motivated.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manages the overall operations of the Taproom and Biergarten
  • Conducts interviews, oversees hiring, training, and appropriate staff scheduling
  • Analyzes sales and profitability to determine successes and opportunities for growth
  • Oversees public and private events from lead-up through execution
  • Assists in managing the brewery merchandise program
  • Oversees taproom inventory management and control
  • Responsible for sales and budget reporting
  • Works with marketing, events, and brewing department heads to ensure collaborative flow of brewery & taproom operations

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of management experience in the craft beer, restaurant, or service industry (or similar industry experience)
  • Fundamental knowledge of beer styles, serving, and draft equipment
  • Excellent, unwavering customer-service skills
  • Ability to effectively manage people
  • Fundamental computer, email, MS office, and social media skills
  • TABC Certified

Shift Brewer

We are looking for a detail-oriented brewer with a passion for craft beer to join our brewing team! This is a full-time position. Production brewing experience is a requirement for this position. Opportunity for advancement within the brewing department.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Brewmaster & Head Brewers.
  • Brews multiple batches simultaneously.
  • Maintain quality & integrity of CBC recipes.
  • CIP/SIP of brewhouse & fermenters.
  • Manages milling & liquor tank levels.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the brewery & brewhouse.
  • Own assigned tasks and communicate irregularities with Head Brewers.

Ideal candidates are expected to:

  • Be able to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, work in confined areas, lift 55lbs repeatedly, walk up and down stairs during 8 hour shifts.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the brewing process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, SOP’s & wear proper PPE.
  • Be prompt to arrive to work on scheduled times.
  • Have a super positive attitude!

​Qualifications:

  • One year minimum brewing experience in a production facility.
  • High School Diploma or GED, a brewing degree is plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation

Packaging Technician

We are looking for a motivated, passionate team player to join our packaging & production division! This is a full-time position. Brewery-related work experience is a plus, but not required. Opportunity for advancement within production department.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Packaging Shift Lead and Head Brewers
  • Safe & efficient operation of Packaging Equipment
  • Readying packaged product for warehouse transfer
  • Maintains organization of production warehouse & packaging materials
  • Owns assigned tasks and maintains an open line of communication with superiors and the CBC brewing team

​Expectations:

  • Able to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, and work in confined areas, repeatedly lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis, and walk up & down stairs throughout an 8 hour shift.
  • Dependable & motivated
  • Previous experience working in packaging or manufacturing
  • Certified forklift operator a plus
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Must be hard working and detail-oriented
  • Ability to operate effectively as a member of a growing team
  • Possess excellent organization and communication skills
  • Availability to work on overnight/ rotating schedule as needed
  • Passion and appreciation for craft beer
