Available Positions

Junior Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a motivated, passionate beer lover to join the Community Beer Co. Marketing Team! This is a full-time position. Ideal candidates will participate in design projects from start to finish, utilizing their creativity and attention to detail. They will use design software and techniques to create content, collaborate with team members, and pitch creative ideas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with graphic and design content
  • Supporting the Marketing and Taproom team on various projects
  • Photography and videography
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to monitor and reply to incoming messages; engage with customers on social media both responsively and proactively
  • Brainstorm creative campaigns and social support with the team​

Expectations:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other emerging platforms
  • Ability to create high-quality photo and video assets optimized for social media
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Out-of-the-box thinking with a hunger to create and implement new and fun ideas

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing OR combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Strong attention to detail

Packaging Technician (Night Shift)

We are looking for a motivated, passionate team player to join our packaging & production division! This is a full-time position. Brewery-related work experience is a plus, but not required. Opportunity for advancement within the production department. This is a night shift position so night owls welcome!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to Packaging Shift Lead and Head Brewers
  • Safe & efficient operation of Packaging Equipment
  • Readying packaged product for warehouse transfer
  • Maintains organization of production warehouse & packaging materials
  • Owns assigned tasks and maintains an open line of communication with superiors and the CBC brewing team
  • Ability to work night shift hours

​Expectations:

  • Able to stand, stoop, crouch, kneel, and work in confined areas, repeatedly lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis, and walk up & down stairs throughout an 8 hour shift.
  • Dependable & motivated
  • Previous experience working in packaging or manufacturing
  • Certified forklift operator a plus
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Must be hardworking and detail-oriented
  • Ability to operate effectively as a member of a growing team
  • Possess excellent organization and communication skills
  • Availability to work on overnight/ rotating schedule as needed

Beer Slinger / Good Times Tender

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, & passionate beer lovers to join our Taproom & Events team and kick off the next chapter of Community Beer Company at our new Commonwealth facility!

About this Job:

We are searching for both full-time and part-time folks for beer-tending in our Taproom, slinging merch and beer to-go, working special events. and supporting our team at off-premise ongoings like festivals, tastings, and other beer-related shenanigans.

About You:

You consider yourself a purveyor of good times.  You like meeting new folks, find talking to strangers super easy (but not in a creepy way), and love beer!  You like to learn new things, are up for a good challenge, and have never met a beer you didn’t like (or at least appreciate!).  There is ALWAYS something going on at the brewery, and you want to be a part of it!

  • Dependable, responsible & motivated
  • Fun-loving, positive, and outgoing
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the service and/or beer industry
  • Available nights & weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Line Cook

Community Beer Co. is searching for a highly-skilled, motivated, and passionate beer and food lover to assist in prepping, cooking, and setting up to quality guidelines and standards. Will assist with grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Consistently produce quality food items in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Accurately follow recipes and prep procedures for service and catering requests
  • Execute opening and/or closing procedures
  •  Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to cross-train on multiple stations and roles

​Expectations:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume kitchen (experience with catering is a plus)
  • Food handler certification
  • Commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Dishwasher (Kitchen)

Community Beer Co. is searching for a motivated and passionate beer lover to maintain a clean kitchen, properly wash and sort soiled dishes, and assist in kitchen operational flow. The ideal candidate will keep the dish area free of clutter, including but not limited to dish machines, sinks, and maintaining clean / dry floors throughout the shift.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to thoroughly clean and sanitize soiled dishes in a high volume environment
  • Keeps dish area and chemical storage organized
  • Sets up / and or breaks down and cleans dish machine daily
  • Willingness to help with food prep as needed
  • Utilizes chemicals appropriately for necessary jobs

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and best practices
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume kitchen (experience with catering is a plus)

General Manager: Restaurant & Taproom Operations

We are searching for a highly-skilled, motivated, and passionate beer lover to oversee our front-of-house restaurant & taproom operations. This person will steer the beership, fostering a culture of hospitality-forward professionalism and an eagerness to provide an incredible experience for our patrons.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all front-of-house operations including our new restaurant, taproom, and outdoor biergarten
  • Works with our management team to train, educate and empower our staff
  • Ensures the highest quality food, beer, and customer service
  • Consistently analyzes sales trends and profitability to determine successes and opportunities for growth
  • Assists in managing the brewery merchandise and beer-to-go programs
  • Ensures proper product inventory management and cost control
  • Responsible for sales and budget reporting
  • Works with marketing, events, and brewing department heads to ensure collaborative flow of brewery, restaurant, & taproom operations

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of GM experience in the craft beer, restaurant, or service industry (or similar industry experience)
  • Fundamental knowledge of beer styles, serving, and draft equipment
  • Excellent, unwavering customer-service skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate, delegate to, and manage a team of talented people
  • Impressively organized and manages time efficiently
  • Fundamental computer, email, MS office, and social media skills
  • TABC and Serve Safe Certified

Brand Ambassador

We’re looking for radical beer lovers to share their passion for Community Beer across DFW. The ideal candidate is a fun-loving, people person, who’s never met a stranger and loves to talk BEER! This is a part-time position with weekend availability preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for visiting a variety of Community Beer Co. accounts across DFW and participating in beer samplings and craft beer-related events and festivals.
